At
the age of 13, firmly believing that no one
could ever love
him, Dallas Anderson had his first encounter with the incredible
love of God. Surrendering his life to Christ, with a deep passion
to never turn back, he felt called to spend his life reaching others
with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. For over 35 years
he has been living out those commitments.
Today, using
practical life experiences and a gift for communication, he presents
the gospel in clear and simple terms and has the unique ability to
connect with people of all ages in the midst of real life.
When God called
Dallas to proclaim Christ, he also called him to teach others. Over
the past 30 years Dallas has taught, trained and mentored
individuals and churches to find their unique calling from God in
the critical work of seeing Christ’s Kingdom advanced. He has
traveled in over 25 countries proclaiming Christ in numerous
cultures and situations.
Presently
Dallas serves the Mission America Coalition as National
Facilitator of Evangelism. The Mission America Coalition is
the nation’s largest evangelism coalition with leaders from over 80
denominations and some 325 ministries.
He also serves
as Operation Starting Line Coordinator for the Institute
of Prison Ministry at the Billy Graham Center in Wheaton,
IL. In that capacity he gives leadership and training to the
evangelism side of Operation Starting Line (OSL). OSL
is a large collaborative initiative to reach in to every one of the
1,850 federal and state prisons. Since Easter of 2000, OSL
has ministered to over 400,000 inmates in 24 states; during that
time over 30,000 have made significant decisions for Christ and over
9,000 volunteers have been mobilized to provide ongoing care to
these inmates.
Over the past
few years God has called Dallas to join with several leading
evangelists in the nation to form The Company of Evangelists
under the umbrella of the
Billy Graham Centers.
Under the auspices of The Company, Dallas and his team hold
Heartland Missions in communities and cities in order to
present Christ in simple but culturally relevant ways to all who
will listen. Heartland Missions call people to a “journey of
their heart” that will eternally transform their life as well as
their communities.
When not on the
road Dallas lives and ministers on his ranch near Lake Norden, SD
where he raises Registered Quarter Horses and operates
Rolling Meadows Ranch.
There are
several ways you might want to join Dallas in this work.
- I would
like to be on his Monthly Prayer Team.
- I would
like to receive the Quarterly Reports
- I would be
interested in more info on how I might become part of his
financial team.
